assess cross-border data flows, and adopt encryption/HSM policies.Security & IdentityOwn cloud security baselines (NIST-aligned), identity federation, privileged access management, Zero Trust principles.Maintain incident response for cloud workloads: playbooks, tabletop exercises, lessons learnedHuman Resource Leadership and Team BuildingCommunicates vision and values of the organization, emphasizing excellence at all levels engaging all staff in the divisionSets and communicates roles and expectations of team members to meet the goals of ITSS and GovernmentSystem and Financial Resource ManagementPrepares capital and operational budget submissions for projects which support the strategic plansReviews technical costs for all Departments and Partners Capital and Management Plan submission; this includes Health PEI, Education and CrownsApproves operating and capital budget expenditures using Oracle and internal ordering formsCollaboration, Strategic Development and Implementation and Other Duties as requiredProvides guidance and advice in the development of ITSS's Strategic PlanProvides guidance and advice in the development of Government's Information Management and Technology Strategic Plan (IT/IM Plan)Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems (BIS), computer science, or degree in business or related field with relevant IT experience. MBA or other master's degree preferredDemonstrated equivalencies may be consideredApplicable Cloud Certifications will be an asset and may be required as position evolvesExperience in Supervision or LeadershipExperience in Cloud/platform engineering or implementationExperience in Management with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solvingSome experience in Enterprise, Portfolio or Program ManagementExperience in the IT industry preferably in information technology projects, project and contract management, technology procurement, implementation, and supportExtensive experience managing complex and multi-disciplinary projects/initiativesExperience in leading technology projects/teams,
