We are looking to add a dynamic, energetic and team-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager (Broker) to our Sudbury office.The successful candidate will provide quality, responsive assistance to the Risk Advisor while building and maintaining positive relations with clients. The Personal Lines Account Manager must be well organized and possess the ability to prioritize workflow while working with their team to provide outstanding customer service to their dedicated clients.CORE RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain positive, long-term relationships with clients, insurance company representatives, and team membersProvide value to clients by offering newly available coverages, identifying exposures, determining the appropriate solutions to those exposures, advising clients on why those solutions best meet their needsProvide assistance to the Personal Risk AdvisorFunction as first-line underwriters to qualify, maintain, and promote quality businessCommunicate with clients including answering questions, reviewing policy changes,



and educating them regarding their coverages and purposeCommunicate and negotiate with underwriters on the client's behalfProvide assistance with quoting current business when requiredPerform insurer portal quoting and data entryReview renewals and existing coverage for accuracyNegotiate renewal terms, identify if another insurance company may be a better fit, discuss with the Risk Advisor and if decided, take the actions necessary to remarket the accountSource, obtain and provide additional information requested by the underwriterAssist clients to complete applicationsReview and send client endorsements and invoicesAssist the Risk Advisor to follow up on paymentsMaintain current client filesReview and send insurance certificatesSubmit claims notices to insurance companies, follow-up with clients and adjusters regarding claim statusAdditional responsibilities as it pertains to the insurance operations that may arise from time to time including assisting other team members and Relationship Managers with workload as necessaryQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEExperience as a Personal Account ManagerActive RIBO license requiredWorking knowledge of Epic and Policy Works is an assetEffective verbal and written communications skillsAbility to work well under pressure with minimum supervisionCommitment to positive team dynamicExcellent time management and organization skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to multitask and respond to time-sensitive deadlines
