Position: Seasonal Snow Removal Laborer

Schedule: On-Call | Day & Night Shifts

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 / hour

Honeybee Landscape Designs is looking for reliable and hardworking Snow Removal Laborer's to join our winter team!

Snow doesn't wait for regular business hours — and neither do we. This is an on-call position requiring availability for both day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays when winter weather demands it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Snow Removal Labourer, you will help keep properties safe and accessible throughout the winter season.

Your responsibilities will include

- Shovelling and clearing snow from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, driveways, and parking areas
- Operating snow blowers and other snow removal equipment
- Moving and loading snow as required
- Applying salt, sand, and ice-melting products
- Assisting equipment operators and other crew members
- Performing property inspections and ensuring areas are safely cleared
- Following all company safety procedures
- Keeping equipment and work areas clean and safe
- Working efficiently in changing winter conditions

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We're looking for people who are:

✅ Reliable and dependable

✅ Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work

✅ Comfortable working in snow, cold, wind, ice, and changing weather





✅ Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

✅ Comfortable operating snow blowers and similar equipment

✅ Able to work independently and as part of a team

✅ Available for day and night shifts

✅ Available for on-call work, including weekends and holidays

✅ Punctual and ready to respond when snow events occur

REQUIREMENTS

- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Clean driver's abstract
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Previous snow removal, landscaping, construction, maintenance, or equipment-operation experience is an asset

SIGNIFICANT — ON-CALL AVAILABILITY Snow removal is weather-dependent. Successful applicants must be prepared for short-notice call-ins and irregular hours, including overnight and early-morning shifts.
