Softscape Labour – Union Position

Responsibilities:

- Proper installation of plants and plant material
- Able to install shrubs/trees/sod/topsoil/mulch
- Vigilant for safety and hazards at all times
- Digging by hand
- Pushing wheel barrels
- Grading for sod installation
- Always adhere to our safe work practices and procedures

Requirements:

- Must have at least 3 years of Softscape experience
- Proven experience installing shrubs/trees/sod
- A solid understanding of landscape materials gained from experience
- Ability to work outdoors for long lengths of time




- Able to work in all temperatures and weather conditions
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Excellent communication skills
- Presentable and professional at all times
- Good work ethic, punctual and dependable
- Must be detail oriented
- Work well in a team
- G License is an asset
- WHMIS, Worker Health and Safety and Working at Heights Certificates
