Lead impactful youth programs at the Youth Achievement Centre in Whitehorse, YT as a Program Facilitator specializing in woodshop activities. Engage and uplift at-risk youth through skill development and empowerment.

This permanent position focuses on creating, implementing, and evaluating effective educational and recreational programs for youth aged 12-18. You will work to inspire change, fostering a supportive culture centered around respect and responsibility while also applying your carpentry skills to hands-on learning experiences. Applicants should be passionate about promoting reconciliation with First Nations communities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop engaging woodshop programs for youth
• Supervise and mentor young participants




• Foster positive identity and social skills

Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work, Education, or related field
• Carpentry experience or certification required
• Experience with at-risk youth or behavioral challenges
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• RCMP security clearance and Class 5 Driver's Licence
