OverviewAs a Power Engineer in our 1st Class Plant, you will be reporting to the Steam and Recovery Supervisor and responsible to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Recovery and Power Boilers. In this entry-level position, the incumbent will perform general labourer duties, working in a line of progression, up to the operator level in the Steam and Recovery department.The PasResponsibilitiesWe are currently recruiting for - 4th class and 3rd class power engineers (entry-level positions)QualificationsGrade 12 Diploma4th Class Power Engineering Ticket with the ability to obtain 3rd Class is required; Able to work both independently and in a team environment; Strong focus onsafety; Able to analyzeand trouble shoot; Solid math skillsStrong communication skills; Ability to work12 hour shifts days and nights on a 4 on and 4 off rotationEssential Skills Assessment Pass required if you do not have a 4th Class Power engineering ticket (You will be contacted for next steps here, if you are selected)Employment LevelFull-timeWork ConditionsThis is a unionized position.
