Are you an experienced leader with residential construction knowledge and a desire to meet targets?As the Turnover & Commissioning Supervisor you will be responsible for directing the Regional Turnover and Commissioning teams during the commissioning and turnover phases of our recent apartment buildings. These phases allow our construction side, Seymour Pacific Developments, to turn over the sites to our operations side, Broadstreet Properties, for occupancy. The role will work closely with Manitoba Region and Head Office staff and third-party trades to resolve risks and issues through effective communication and problem solving.Your contributions to the team include:Manage and prioritize daily tasks of Regional StaffResolve any problems or inconsistencies which occur throughout the Commissioning and Inspection phase of a projectUse project scheduling and control tools to monitor course of the project, issues, and overall project healthAttend stakeholder meetings and assist with determination of Commissioning and Inspection RequirementsManage and prioritize Work Orders for the length of a project until completedFile all project documents appropriately (hard and soft copies)Organize, compile and submit supporting documentation on completion of projectCoordinate Purchase Orders and the organization of site level materialsTravel to assess the state of projects to determine accurate timelinesWeekly coordination for project and travel planning for regional staffAudit sites to ensure Operational Standards are being metCoordinate with 3rd party trades and develop scopes of work, timelines, and budgetsWhat you need to be successful:Post-secondary education in Engineering,



Project Management or equivalent5+ years' experience in a Project Coordination rolePrevious experience working in a supervisory capacityProven ability to work effectively both independently and in a teamDemonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methodsDemonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing prioritiesExperience using construction management software an assetDemonstrated knowledge of sound change management practicesEffective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skillsStrong multi-tasking and organizational skillsPMP certification is an assetWhat we offer:Employees enjoy a wide range of benefits and competitive reward.
