Delta Hotels by Marriott Kamloops is seeking a hands-on and reliable Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep of our hotel & associated facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, and well-presented environment for both guests and team members. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a dynamic, service-focused environment.What You'll DoPerform general maintenance and repairs across the hotel, restaurant, and related facilitiesRespond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues in a timely and professional mannerComplete preventative maintenance tasks to support the ongoing condition of the propertyMaintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and completed tasksSupport the upkeep of systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and basic IT equipmentEnsure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and company policiesAssist with contractor coordination and oversee work as requiredMaintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in an organized and safe conditionCollaborate with other departments to support operational needsWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 2 years of maintenance or facilities experienceStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage priorities effectivelyBasic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)Experience using hand and power tools safelyStrong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenanceHigh school diploma or equivalent; trade certification is an assetLegally entitled to work in CanadaAdditional experience that would be considered an asset:Experience in a hotel or hospitality environmentHVAC experience or certification5+ years of maintenance experienceLeadership or mentoring experienceWorking ConditionsFast-paced environment with a mix of scheduled and on-demand maintenance workPrimarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasksSchedule may include evenings, weekends,
