ABOUT YOU:We are looking for a smart, articulate Application Engineer capable of designing Gas Detection systems for condo towers, arenas, breweries, and everything in between. Your job will be to review engineering plans, understand the application, design systems, create drawings & submittal packages, and then support the customer through installation. Don't worry if you're not familiar with Gas Detection; just bring your engineering mindset and desire to learn and we will get you trained up.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:Review plans & project specifications received from customersDesign Gas Detection systems for a wide variety of applications & prepare quotes for customersCreate project drawings quotes & submittals packages for dealers and engineersProvide post-sale technical & installation support for projects you designDeliver technical training and education to dealers, technicians, and engineersShare insights with the broader CET team and provide input on product directionREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Engineering degree or equivalentMinimum 3 years of experience in building automation and controlsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to present to a group in person and/or virtually
