Join the Health Sciences Association of Alberta as a Labour Relations Officer based in Calgary. This full time, temporary role focuses on member support with opportunities in arbitration, conflict resolution, and advocacy.

This position, reporting to the Manager of Labour Relations, calls for a dedicated individual with at least three years of related experience. You will actively participate in various union activities, assisting with grievance processes and bargaining while fostering member engagement. The right candidate will have a solid education and a commitment to trade union values.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver expert labour relations advice to HSAA members
• Facilitate and lead workshops for stewards
• Assist in arbitration and grievance hearings




• Support collective bargaining initiatives
• Travel across Alberta as required for duties

Requirements:
• Minimum three years’ experience in Labour Relations field
• University degree with specialized employment law training
• Proven ability to interpret agreements and resolve conflicts
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access
• Strong understanding of public healthcare principles
