Empower Junior High students as a Temporary Teacher at our Division Schools, focusing on those with complex and diverse learning needs. Provide essential support tailored for EAL and behavioral challenges.

We are looking for two 1.0 FTE teachers to start as soon as possible in support of Grades 7–9 students, with contracts lasting until June 30, 2027. This role, financed by the Alberta Education Classroom Complexity Grant, emphasizes creating safe, inclusive spaces while collaborating with the Complexity Team and classroom educators.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead small-group and one-on-one instruction
• Implement trauma-informed support strategies
• Foster positive behavior and academic achievement
• Adapt student support plans as per division standards

Requirements:
• Certified to teach in Alberta
• Committed to inclusive educational practices
• Experience with trauma and behavioral needs
