Located in the Eastern Ontario region, halfway between Ottawa and Montreal, it's the summertime fun place to be!JOB DESCRIPTION:Calypso's Plant & Equipment Mechanics are responsible for the upkeep and repairs of equipment and infrastructure including our attractions and buildings. Mechanics play a key role in ensuring the overall upkeep of our grounds, attractions, buildings, and equipment to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.WORK SITE SETTING: Water parkWORK SETTINGMachineryMaintenanceRepair/overhaul/setupKEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssemble & install mechanical equipmentTroubleshoot, repair or replace machinery parts.Report to assigned work area on time and in compliance with safety requirementsRespond to work orders for repairs/preventative maintenance daily as assignedInspect and maintain rides and attractions to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical components (pumps & motors)Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulationsPerform repairs on buildings, equipment, and infrastructure as neededENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONSThis position is outdoors the majority of timeThis position requires frequent work in heat and sun.Must be comfortable working at heights and have knowledge of protective equipment. (Employer will train and certify)This position requires occasional work in or around water, water treatment chemicals,
