PREGNANCY TO POSTNATAL PROGRAM COORDINATORPrograms Temp Ottawa, ON Hybrid $25 CAD per hourPosition Type: Part time, contract - 4 hours weeklySalary: $25.00/hourJob Area: West Ottawa (Nepean)SCOPE OF POSITIONThe Pregnancy to Postnatal Program Coordinator will be responsible for planning, promoting, facilitating, and supporting the delivery of Pregnancy to Postnatal program for parents of children age 0-1 years and expecting parents. The program may include in-person sessions at various community locations and virtual sessions.The successful candidate will work within the Nepean, Rideau & Osgoode Community Resource Centre's model of Community Development to engage and support families, including newcomers and vulnerable populations.JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESPlan and facilitate Pregnancy to Postnatal sessions to provide nutritional education to expecting and new parentsPrepare the program space, including setting up materials and refreshmentsSupport registration and maintain accurate records of participant attendance and program activitiesCreate a welcoming, inclusive, and safe setting for community membersProvide information, support, and referrals to families as neededConduct outreach and build relationships with community partnersAssist with administrative tasks, including data entry and program planningClean up and organize the program space after each sessionCOMMON RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of workFoster collaboration and teamwork within a diverse,
