Track Maintainers duties can include replacing and repairing various track components including rails, railway ties, fences and adjusting the alignment and the surface of the track as well as responding to emergencies and track outages.Conduct regular track inspections and perform general repairs and maintenanceEnsure switches, crossings, and flangeways are cleaned, lubricated,



and adjustedPerform regular maintenance on all tools and small machines ensuring that all equipment is kept in good working orderConduct job hazard analysis, report unsafe working conditions, and ensure they are repaired immediatelyManage all paperwork associated with purchasing supplies, equipment, and fuel related to the maintenance workEnsure work reports are completed and documented as required (eg.
