Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately, and assist with menu selections to enhance their experience
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, for efficient cash handling and order processing
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met by following proper food handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including kitchen stations, utensils, and dining space, adhering to sanitation guidelines
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while upholding quality standards




- Upsell additional menu items or upgrades to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments, preferably within a restaurant or quick-service setting
- Strong cashiering skills with familiarity in POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and engage positively with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order calculations
- Kitchen experience that demonstrates reliability in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing friendly service
