Services is seeking an enthusiastic, client-focused leader with a passion for customer service and delivering safe, high-quality food services. Reporting to the Manager, FLES & Portering Services, the Food Services Supervisor shares responsibility for maintaining site operations and aligning AHS, NFLES, and site priorities with the delivery of Patient and Retail Food Services. This position provides direction and supervision to frontline employees and helps ensure patients and customers receive safe, nutritious, and high-quality meals and services.

Responsibilities include staffing and scheduling, recruitment, employee development, performance management, food safety, quality standards, retail operations, patient meal services, and the management of food, supply, and labour expenses. As part of a collaborative team that includes other supervisors, managers, dietitians, and healthcare professionals, you will help develop and implement menus, promote continuous quality improvement, engage employees in operational problem-solving, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be a visible, approachable, and organized leader who can manage competing priorities, support employees, lead change, and maintain strong relationships with patients, customers, site administration, and clinical teams. Food Services Supervisors provide direction to front line workers (Administrative Supports, Food Service Workers and Stores Attendants) and ensure customers and patients receive the meals required to promote good health. You will be integrated as part of a dynamic team that includes other PFS & RFS Supervisors, Managers and Dietitians, and other health care professionals.

Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in Nutrition and/or Food Service Management. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Food Services management role. Note: A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered. Knowledge and operation of Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word. Additional Required Qualifications

Leadership experience in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity preferred. Preferred Qualifications

Significant experience with menu &/or recipe costing and development. Completion of food sanitation and hygiene certification. Experience supervising in a unionized workforce. Experience leading projects and organizational initiatives. Experience with process improvement and change management methodologies (ie. Prosci, lean six sigma). Experience with Connect Care, CBORD, Microsoft Teams.
