Job Title: Shipper/Receiver

Job Type: Full time- Temporary to Permanent

Location: Sussex, NB
Pay Rate: $18.00-20.00/hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm, weekends as needed

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Shipper/Receiver to join our client's warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in shipping and receiving, material handling, and forklift operation, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate walkie and counterbalance forklifts
- Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse
- Complete inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records




- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials
- Ensure products are properly labelled, stored, and prepared for shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a Shipper/Receiver, Material Handler, or Warehouse role
- Valid forklift certification/license
- Experience operating walkie and counterbalance forklifts
- Experience with loading and unloading shipments
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Ability to safely lift and move materials
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Previous shipping and receiving experience is an asset
