Note that traffic officers can be periodically assigned as Selective Traffic Enforcement and Education Program" (S.T.E.E.P) officers.PURPOSE OF POSITIONReport directly to the NCO i/c Traffic Section and investigate fatal and serious injury motor vehicle collisions. Investigate collisions directly involving service vehicles that result in injuries. Investigate personal injury motor vehicle collisions resulting from suspect apprehension pursuits.
