Global Mission of the position
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Superintendent, the successful candidate will participate on overseeing facility operations and maintenance activities, with a primary focus on weekend supervision. With a working schedule of Thursday to Sunday, this role combines technical maintenance responsibilities with team leadership, ensuring that equipment, systems, and facilities operate safely and efficiently at all times.

YOUR BIG RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and coordinate weekend maintenance personnel and activities.





Prioritize and assign maintenance work based on production requirements and equipment condition.

Respond to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other equipment breakdowns.

Lead troubleshooting and repairs to minimize production downtime.

Ensure preventative maintenance activities are completed according to schedule.

Inspect equipment and identify potential failures or maintenance concerns.

Coordinate with production supervisors to address equipment and operational issues.

Ensure all maintenance work is performed in accordance with company safety procedures and applicable regulations.

Promote secure work practices, including proper lockout/tagout procedures.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and shift reports.

Communicate outstanding maintenance issues and priorities to the weekday maintenance team.

Assist with parts, tools, and inventory requirements.

Provide coaching, direction, and support to maintenance employees.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, productivity, and safety.

Respond to emergency maintenance situations as required.
