Key Responsibilities

- Develops detailed engineering drawings, models, and fabrication packages for projects of increasing technical complexity.
- Translates conceptual engineering intent into coordinated fabrication-level engineering deliverables.
- Maintains technical consistency, accuracy, and manufacturability across assigned engineering deliverables.
- Collaborates with technical design engineers, project & services engineering, structural engineering, production, and project management to support engineering feasibility and project execution.
- Participates in engineering reviews and contributes technical feedback related to: manufacturability, assemblies, modelling practices, and design coordination.
- Supports troubleshooting and refinement of engineering solutions during project execution.
- Contributes to: engineering standards, modelling consistency, CAD libraries, and process improvement initiatives.
- Assists in mentoring and supporting junior design staff.
- Develops increasing awareness of: engineering codes, technical standards, acoustical product systems, and structural/mechanical coordination requirements.
- Maintains accountability for the completeness and quality of assigned engineering deliverables.

Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in: mechanical engineering technology, mechanical engineering, design engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Approximately 2–4 years of professional engineering design experience.
- Robust proficiency with: Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Revit, Autodesk Forma.
- Strong understanding of: fabrication methodologies, engineering assemblies, technical documentation,



and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Demonstrates increasing autonomy and engineering judgement.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple organizational groups and support project execution objectives.
- Familiarity with: QA/QC practices, engineering standards, and technical review procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational accountability.
- Demonstrates initiative in process improvement and technical development.
