Our client, a leading edge developer of microscopy and high-precision image analysis solutions for various industries including Metallurgy, Biomedical Engineering and others, is currently looking for a Field Technical Support Specialist to act a front-line contact with customers across North America.ResponsibilitiesRespond to service tickets and follow up on client requests within agreed timeframesPerform installations, commissioning, or repairs of microscopes or hardness testers directly at client sitesPerform preventive maintenance and calibration of scientific equipment at client sitesCreate or modify automated image analysis routines (macros) for clientsProvide technical support to the sales team (demonstrations, technical questions, documentation)Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and professionallyMaintain explicit and courteous communication with clients at every stepCandidate ProfileExperience or education in biomedical engineering, microscopy, image analysis, metallurgy, mineralogy, or geology is an assetEducation in science, technology, engineering,
