Reporting to the Construction Foreman, you will engage in hands-on work involving both overhead and underground power systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in utility construction, including system switching and energized work. Continuous mentorship of apprentices and adherence to safety practices is expected.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain steel and wood poles, towers, and lines
• Install conductors, transformers, and switches
• Perform advanced live line work and cable testing




• Ensure strict compliance with safety documentation
• Lead job hazard and critical lift assessments

Requirements:
• Valid Journeyperson Powerline Technician credential (434A or Red Seal)
• Experience in the utility sector and energized work is essential
• Preferred Class 4 Rubber Glove experience
• Must hold a valid Driver's License
• Willingness to become a member of the CUSW
