Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA)
Job Duties
Provide administrative and support services to the program head and instructional staff
Provide information and support services to Literacy and Adult Education students
Provide program information to the general public and outside agencies
Liaise with other departments, offices and agencies
Create and manage student database
Manage the office, which includes reception duties
Assist students, administrative and academic staff to ensure the program runs smoothly.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
Specific Accountabilities
Duties
Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
Recognized office education or business certificate or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Minimum of two years recent and relevant experience performing administrative and clerical work.
Training and/or experience in the use of common software packages, i.e. MS Word and Excel.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Effective organizational skills.
Ability to work independently under generalized supervision.
