An established and growing construction organization is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its Tenant Improvements team.

This is an opportunity for a construction professional who enjoys having genuine ownership of their projects — from pre-construction and tendering through to completion and client handover.

You’ll be responsible for driving projects forward while maintaining control of scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety and client relationships . You’ll work closely with clients, consultants, trades, suppliers and internal teams, acting as the key point of coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

What you will be doing:

Lead the day-to-day management of tenant improvement and commercial construction projects from pre-construction through close-out

Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules and forecasts

Review drawings, specifications, contracts, permits and project documentation to identify scope, cost and coordination requirements

Tender, negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, trades and suppliers

Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, site instructions and project documentation

Monitor project costs, progress claims, forecasts, schedule and overall financial performance

Identify potential delays, cost impacts and project risks and drive timely resolution

Coordinate trades and suppliers to maintain project momentum and delivery

Lead project close-out, deficiencies, occupancy requirements, warranties and turnover

Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, client satisfaction and successful project delivery

What you bring:

Background in tenant improvements, commercial construction or a similar environment

Demonstrated ability to manage projects through the full lifecycle

Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, permits, RFIs, submittals and change management

Experience managing budgets, cost reports, forecasts,



progress claims and financial projections

Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project or similar scheduling/project management platforms

Solid understanding of WorkSafeBC requirements and construction safety practices
