Overview

Duties

- Build Infrastructure: Set up AUX racking, equipment racks and cabinets
- Deploy Technology: Install a wide variety of IT, network and telecom hardware
- Manage Connectivity: Run, connect, and secure copper and fiber optic cabling
- Upgrade Networks: De-install legacy equipment and safely perform cable mining
- Power Systems: Install essential power equipment and multiple battery types
- Maintain Standards: Keep job sites clean, orderly and compliant with safety standards

Experience

- Level 1: Minimum 1 year of related field experience
- Level 2: Minimum 3 years of related field experience
- Level 3: Minimum 5 years of related field experience
- Technical Must-Haves: Solid DC Power Knowledge and hands-on fiber testing experience
- Safety & Electrical Basics:



A strong foundational understanding of electricity and electrical safety
- Strong mechanical skills with experience using hand tools for installation and repair tasks.
- Mindset & Aptitude: Great manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and a common sense approach to problem solving
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and wiring layouts effectively
- Communication: Full professional fluency in written and spoken English

Logistics & Safety Requirements

- Education & Certifications: High School diploma, CEGEP, or technical training preferred. Valid certifications in First Aid/CPR, WHIMIS, Ladder Safety, Safe Lifting, and TDG are highly valued
- Travel & Schedule: Flexibility to travel and work weekends depending on customer needs
- Driving: A valid driver's license with a clean abstract.

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
