AQUATECH is the largest private operator of water and wastewater treatment plants in Canada.We are presently seeking a Certified Wastewater Operator to join our team in the Rocky Mountain House area. AQUATECH is looking for an individual who is seeking a career with our rapidly expanding company, and is eager to learn.Job DescriptionThe main responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:Carry out the daily operation (regulatory monitoring and reporting process adjustments, chemical transferring and maintenance) of the facilitiesProvide operational support & troubleshooting for plant operationsMaintain required inventory and inventory control of critical spare parts, chemicals, & consumables.Create maintenance requests and assist in the development of work scope quotation with our Technical Services Group for scopes of work within the plant facility.Monitor Lift Stations as required.Monitor Storm ponds as required.Complete and compile data of daily inspections, monitoring,



and sampling as requiredPerform maintenance tasks as requested by the supervisorPerform laboratory analysis and reportingPreparation weekly, monthly, annual reports as requiredProvide training and mentorship to plant operational staffParticipate in required meetings (in-person & remotely)Participate, enforce, and comply with all aspects of the company's health and safety programQualificationsCurrent Level III Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification (proof of certification is required)Ability to lift 25 kg (55 lb)Intermediate to advanced mechanical knowledgeAbility to work under pressure quickly and efficientlyExcellent problem solving skillsMicrosoft Office program experienceStrong independent worker and team playerGood communication skills, both written and verbalProven ability to supervise and communicate with staff membersPositive attitude and able to promote a positive image of AQUATECHAdditional InformationTraining certificates in H2S, First Aid, Confined Space, and TDG.Supervisor safety training courses considered an asset.CompensationAQUATECH has competitive wages, a comprehensive benefits package, plus many other intangible incentives that are offered to our full time employees.
