Our Mobile Outreach Department islooking for a dedicated Needle Mitigation Worker to join the team.

Position Responsibilities

The Needle Mitigation Worker will perform proactive needle sweeps, respond to requests by businesses and residents regarding needle debris, and monitor disposal bins through the community.

The Needle Mitigation Worker will perform other departmental duties as directed by the Mobile Outreach Manager or their designate.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Transparent Criminal Record Check

Valid Alberta Drivers License – Class 5 (or equivalent) no more than 6 demerits.

Satisfactory Drivers Abstract

Ability to interpret/apply policies & procedures

Excellent communication skills - orally and written





Knowledge of computers and related applications is desirable

Hours
The standardworkweek consists of an average of 25 hours, with the specific schedule beingdetermined by theimmediate supervisor.

Compensation
Starting salary $24.28 per hour as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
