As an Estimator I with Bosch Building Technologies, your main responsibility will be to maximize the award of profitable contracts by leading estimating and bid administration activities. You will work closely with the Sales, Design, and Project Management team to ensure that our customers are provided with the highest quality service.Ideal candidates will represent Bosch in a professional manner that aligns with our values of leadership mindset, people development, team, and client focused. A typical day could see you responding to an RFP, meeting with sales team members, working with service and project teams during installation, or working with clients to identify scope requirements.Responsibilities:Prepare cost budgets based on drawings, specifications, and other relevant materialsWork closely with Engineering, Sales, and PMO to develop cost estimates for labor and logistics and detailed BOMIdentify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documentsCompute and communicate costs through analysis of labor, material, and time requirementsEngage subcontractors to augment Paladin's areas of expertise to provide a complete solutionObtain best product prices from manufacturers, distributors, and subcontractorsMaintaining technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, establishing networksCoordinating bid proposal development with all relevant stakeholdersRequired Qualifications:A minimum of one year of design experience in the information technology and integrated security systems or Audio-Visual industryA robust understanding of the physical security, IT industries and/or AV industry, including an awareness of complimentary products, technologies, trends, and the general application of physical security technologyAn understanding of and experience with fundamental concepts pertaining to IP networks, low voltage electronics, power, and communicationsAbility to create and edit design drawings, spread sheets,
