Duties

- Safely operate trucks with a Class ADDRESS> license to transport freight to designated locations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and load security
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies
- Perform minor automotive repairs and troubleshooting to ensure vehicle readiness and safety
- Adhere to all traffic laws,

- Assist with warehouse operations by managing freight movement and supporting inventory management as needed

Qualifications

- Valid Class ADDRESS> commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
- Skilled in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads and operating machinery safely
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients
- Prior experience with freight handling and logistics is highly preferred
