We are seeking a motivated and dependable Mini Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate a mini dump truck to transport materials efficiently across various job sites, ensuring timely deliveries and smooth operations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate the mini dump truck to load, transport, and unload construction materials, debris, and other freight across designated sites
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Assist with loading and unloading freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance records
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and site managers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly
- Perform minor repairs or report mechanical issues related to the vehicle or heavy equipment operation
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating mini dump trucks
- Proven experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, or related roles
- Knowledge of forklift operation, freight handling, and basic automotive repair techniques
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety procedures and compliance with transportation regulations
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
