(Cummins, CAT, Detroit, and John Deere)Hydraulic & PTO diagnostic and repairClutches, transmissions & differentialsVacuum pump & blower repairBurner diagnostic & repairCommercial Vehicle InspectionsTroubleshoot issues, inspect equipment and replace or repair defective partsWork alongside apprentices and delegate workAttend daily tool box and safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulationsRole SpecificationsMust be a registered (On-Road) Apprentice.Valid Class 5 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is requiredValid Class 1 or 3 license would be an assetWeight handling of up to 50 lbsExperience in hydraulic, electrical, and pump systems is an assetAble to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol testAble to provide your own toolsSkillsYou're happiest working in a team, sharing a laugh with your coworkers and getting the job done safelyYou're meticulous – you have no problem completing the required paperwork for projects and jobsYour knowledge of, Cummins and CAT engines would set you up for successComputers are your friend, not your enemyThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
