The Breakdown:We are looking for an experienced Store Manager for our Store. The Store Manager is responsible for achieving store sales goals and ensuring the highest standards of customer service. Snowboarding is a social sport, and as part of this team, you'll be the direct connection between consumers and our brand. We are passionate about riding, knowledgeable about the products that make the experience event better, and above all, stoked to share the excitement and expertise. Our stores are designed to get customers amped on riding, and offer an exciting, fast-paced work environment.What You Get to Do:Provide a superior customer experience for all Burton guestsHire, manage, train and develop all store staffApply and teach effective selling strategies to associatesMaintain accurate inventory levels and low shrink levelsMerchandise product throughout the store and keep the store looking "fresh" while executing visual merchandising directivesManage daily operations of successful Retail store with controlled expensesExecute in-store events to build your community and drive foot traffic into the storeManage the store social media contentEnsure all operational policies and procedures are followed and maintained at all timesWhat You'll Bring to the Team:5-8 years of Retail experience in a large volume retail setting, with at least 3 years of direct store manager responsibilityStrong operational, organizational and analytical skillsExcellent leadership and communication skills across multiple levelsPassion for SnowboardingPhysical Requirements:Continually able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, necessary to provide sales floor coverage related to customer service and loss preventionContinually able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry product, necessary for customer service, inventory re-stock, and store merchandisingContinually able to walk up and down staircase, carrying boxes, product, and other necessary store related itemsAbility to regularly perform store maintenance items: sweep, vacuum, empty trash, cleanAbility to safely lift boxes up to 50 lbsComfortable climbing ladders
