Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vacuum Truck Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating vacuum trucks to perform environmental cleanup, waste removal, and industrial service tasks. Your expertise will ensure efficient, compliant, and safe handling of various materials while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

- Operate vacuum trucks and related heavy equipment safely and efficiently during waste collection, transportation, and disposal activities
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Load, unload, and transport non-hazardous materials according to regulatory guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation of all operations, including logs, manifests, and safety reports




- Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs on vacuum trucks and associated machinery
- Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to environmental regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to coordinate daily tasks and ensure smooth operations

Skills

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record for operating heavy vehicles
- Experience operating vacuum trucks or similar heavy equipment in industrial or environmental settings
- Strong attention to detail for safety checks, documentation, and operational accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
