Responsibilities

- Assist with planting, pruning, and harvesting grapes to ensure healthy vine growth and optimal yield
- Operate farm machinery and power tools safely for tasks such as mowing, tilling, and equipment maintenance
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution across vineyard rows
- Perform routine maintenance on tools, equipment, and irrigation infrastructure to keep operations running smoothly
- Use hand tools for trellising, tying vines, and other vine management activities
- Conduct basic math calculations for measuring quantities of fertilizers,



pesticides, or water application
- Lift heavy loads of grape bundles, supplies, or equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols

Skills

- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on farm machinery and irrigation systems
- Experience with irrigation systems and understanding of horticultural practices for vine health management
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as tractors or forklifts is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in vineyard maintenance tasks
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of outdoor work
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
- Knowledge of horticulture principles related to vine care and vineyard sustainability
