Department of Municipal and Community Affairs - Government of Newfoundland and LabradorReporting to the Manager of Land Use Planning, this position will be responsible for reviewing Regional and Municipal planning documents to ensure consistency with provincial policy and law; coordinating provincialinterests; researching and writingprovincial land use policy statements; responding to requests regarding municipal planning areas; preparing technical reports; and researching currentplanning topics. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for responding to requests for interpretation of planning law, land use policy, government policy, as well as municipal plans and development regulations. Reviews and make recommendations on land use referrals from other departments.
