Job Description The Grocery Lead serves as the liaison between the Grocery team members, Assistant Store Operations Manager, and Store Operations Manager to ensure that merchandise is properly stocked and displayed attractively across Eatalys retail department.

The Grocery Lead promotes exceptional guest service on the retail team, using interpersonal skills and product knowledge to drive sales and improve guest satisfaction.

Reports to the Store Operations Manager.

Stocks, rotates and faces products according to department procedure and merchandizing standards Collaborates with the Warehouse team to maintain proper stock levels, organizing back stock and warehouse storage effectively and efficiently Follows order and inventory procedures; places orders andreceives deliveries, verifying order and invoice accuracy Assists with delegating tasks, supervising, training and motivating Grocery Associates Maintains accurate department signage, pricing and labelling Rotates products according to First In First Out (FIFO) standards Inspects shelves and immediately removes expired or damaged merchandise Communicates grocery needs,



adjustments and problems to the Operations Managers promptly and efficiently Assesses departmental food waste with department heads and diverts waste to donations Partners with Marketing to coordinate product demos Maintains safe and cleanwork conditions and compliance with local regulations Performs light cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting and packaging disposal as necessary Handles payments and ensures accurate accounting of all transactions, collections and disbursements Obtains and reviews information regarding price changes Performs other duties as required or assigned Qualifications Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team Basic math and cash-handling skills Verbal and written communication skills High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous leadership and stocking experience in a retail setting preferred Job Requirements Availability to work onsite with a adaptable schedule including nights and weekends Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting Ability to use a hand truck, cart, box cutter, ladder and cleaning supplies Compensation Compensation for this role is CAD $21.00-$22.00 hourly This position has been posted to fill a current vacancy Additional Information Benefits and Perks Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Parental Leave RRSP Free family meal daily Discounts at Eataly Classes on products and Italian cuisine Referral bonus program and more!
