Business Analyst - Capital Markets Job Type: Full Time Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Onsite / 4 Days Primary Skills: Capital Markets, Requirements Management, SQL & Data Mapping Job Description We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst - Capital Markets to support large and complex Capital Markets initiatives.

The role focuses on requirements management, business and process analysis, data sourcing and mapping, system integration, and collaboration across business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities Manage requirements for large and complex Capital Markets projects.

Plan, prioritize, elicit, document, and manage business and functional requirements.

Analyze Capital Markets products and processes and translate business needs into clear requirements.

Support the Product Control function and understand its role within Capital Markets.

Perform data sourcing, analysis, and mapping for major Capital Markets products.

Query and analyze data using SQL .

Work with APIs, Python, and AI-related solutions.

Analyze system integration requirements, including ETL processes and data pipelines .

Collaborate with teams using JIRA, Confluence, Service

Now, and other workflow/process automation tools.

Support Dev

Ops-related initiatives and technology delivery processes.

Contribute to initiatives involving machine learning and predictive analytics.

Prepare business analysis documentation, process flows, data mappings, and supporting artifacts using MS Excel and MS Visio.





Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and cross-functional project teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience as a Business Analyst with responsibility for requirements management.

Proven experience working on large and complex projects.

Strong knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes .

Strong requirements planning, prioritization, and elicitation skills.

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Visio .

Strong SQL skills for data querying and analysis.

Experience working with APIs, Python, and AI technologies.

Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Service

Now, or similar workflow automation tools.

Strong understanding of system integration, ETL processes, and data pipelines.

Hands-on experience with data sourcing and mapping for Capital Markets products.

Knowledge of Dev

Ops practices and tools.

Understanding of machine learning and predictive analytics concepts.

Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications Experience within Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Financial Services.

Understanding of Product Control processes.

Experience supporting data-driven transformation initiatives.

Robust stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience working in Agile environments.
