Warehouse Associate – Shipping & Receiving

In this role, you’ll primarily support our Shipping & Receiving department while also contributing to order picking and general warehouse operations. What We Do

We supply national and independent retailers with consumer packaged goods from some of the top brands in the world. Our customers range from small independent stores to major retail chains like Walmart, Sobeys, and Canadian Tire.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your primary focus will be supporting shipping and receiving operations, while also assisting with order fulfillment and general warehouse tasks.

- Receive inbound shipments and verify product accuracy and quantities
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
- Prepare, pack, and label outbound shipments to meet customer expectations
- Schedule shipments and work with courier systems (as required)
- Pick orders accurately for various customer types
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, order pickers, and forklifts
- Stock, organize, and maintain inventory within the warehouse
- Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory and shipments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist other warehouse departments and take on additional tasks as needed

Requirements & Qualifications

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis
- Comfortable standing and walking for the duration of a shift
- Ability to read and write in English
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to pass a background check

Preferred:

- Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience
- Forklift or order picker certification
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems
