About the Role

Mott Electric is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to help ensure the productive operation of our warehouse, yard, inventory, and equipment management functions. This hands-on role is critical to maintaining the accuracy, readiness, and availability of materials, tools, and equipment that support our field operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shipping and receiving, inventory control, equipment inspections, transportation logistics, yard organization, and general warehouse maintenance. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the flexibility to support a variety of operational needs across the organization.

Responsibilities

- Shipping & Receiving: Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities, verify packing slips, follow receiving procedures, and ensure materials, tools, and equipment are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, track temporary power units, tools, and materials, and ensure inventory management and storage procedures are consistently followed.
- Warehouse Operations: Receive, load, unload, stock, organize, and distribute tools, equipment, and materials to support project and operational requirements.
- Tool & Equipment Maintenance: Conduct inspections and functional testing of tools and equipment using the Milwaukee One-Key System. Assist with tool repairs and support ongoing maintenance programs.
- Transportation & Logistics: Transport tools, equipment, and materials between company facilities, vendors,



and job sites while ensuring the safe handling of all assets.
- Yard & Facility Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, yard, loading dock, parking lot, and storage areas. Ensure C-Cans and storage locations remain secure and properly organized.
- Equipment Demobilization: Support the return, inspection, cleaning, recycling, disposal, and restocking of materials and equipment from job sites.
- Vehicle & Equipment Care: Maintain company trucks through regular cleaning and upkeep. Perform daily pre-trip inspections of forklifts and ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to company safety policies, operating procedures, and inventory controls while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
- Operational Support: Assist with general yard maintenance, housekeeping, and other operational tasks as required to support business needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements, organization initiatives, and technology adoption efforts that enhance warehouse efficiency and equipment tracking.

Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, logistics, or a related role.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with inventory management practices and asset tracking systems is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience performing basic tool or equipment maintenance is an asset.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials and equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
