and assemble components and parts to required tolerances Inspect completed work using precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, charts, tables, and specifications Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete repairs to machine components, heavy equipment parts, and hydraulic cylinders Required Qualifications: 3+ years of machining experience, preferably in a repair or custom machining workplace Experience working with heavy equipment components within agriculture, construction, oilfield, or similar industries Strong ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, charts, and tables Strong mechanical aptitude, mathematical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail Safety-conscious with the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks Bonus Points For: Apprentice or Journeyman Machinist designation Experience with hydraulic cylinder repair Own basic machinist tools, steel-toed boots, and required safety equipment Right People.
