Box Consulting Group is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join our client, an established contractor delivering electrical utility, infrastructure, and industrial projects across Alberta and Saskatchewan.

This is a senior individual-contributor opportunity within a growing estimating team.

The successful candidate will bring strong electrical construction estimating experience and have the ability to independently develop competitive bids across a range of project sizes and scopes.

Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates for electrical construction and utility projects Review drawings, specifications, tender documents, and contract requirements Complete detailed material and labour takeoffs Develop labour, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing Solicit, review, and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations Identify scope gaps, risks, exclusions, and potential commercial issues Develop complete and competitive tender submissions Evaluate project constructability and execution requirements Coordinate with operations, project management, suppliers, and subcontractors as required Manage multiple estimates across varying project sizes and timelines Support the estimating team with electrical construction knowledge and expertise Contribute to larger and more complex pursuits across Western Canada Requirements 6+ years of electrical construction estimating experience Strong experience independently preparing electrical estimates and tenders Experience with detailed takeoffs and quantity development Strong understanding of labour, material, and equipment pricing Experience reviewing supplier and subcontractor quotations Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications,



and tender documents Strong understanding of electrical construction and constructability Experience managing estimates from initial review through final submission Robust attention to detail and commercial awareness Ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader estimating team Valid driver''s licence and satisfactory driver''s abstract Ability to work from an Edmonton-area office For more current job opportunities, Follow Match
