The Opportunity:

Nordstrong Equipment Limited is seeking an experienced Welder / Fitter Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in metal fabrication, fitting, and welding, with the ability to read blueprints and fabricate quality steel components in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Fit, fabricate, and assemble metal components and structures.
- Perform MIG welding and other welding processes as required.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate shop equipment, overhead cranes, and forklifts safely.
- Perform repairs, modifications, and rework as needed.




- Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

- 3-5 years of welding, fitting, and metal fabrication experience.
- Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills.
- Experience working with carbon steel and structural steel.
- Ability to produce high-quality welds and assemblies.
- Welding certification is an asset.
- Experience in a manufacturing or steel fabrication workplace preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
