WHEELCHAIR TECHNICIAN WANTED

BERG Access & Mobility is looking for an experienced wheelchair technician to provide repair and maintenance services for manual and/or power wheelchairs. - Experience repairing wheelchairs and mobility equipment
- Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Reliable and professional
- Able to diagnose problems and complete repairs safely

Experience in Wheelchair Setup/Repairs/Seating related knowledge is an asset, but not required. If you’re mechanically inclined and eager to learn,



we’ll teach you the rest.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Ontario G-class driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract (recent copy required)
- Experience in any of the following is an asset: Wheelchair Setup/Repairs/Seating/Sewing
- Ability to work in a team with strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with heavy lifting
- Willingness to travel to and from Clients/Clinics

TOOLS ARE PROVIDED BY BERG Access & Mobility Additional pay: On-call, Overtime

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Hours are 8:30-5 M-F,

Some after hours work may be required on occasion

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour based on knowledge and experience
