Food Service Supervisor
to join their team at the
400 Algonquin Blvd E

This is a
permanent, full time role
working
30 hours per week
across a variety of shifts - including early mornings, days, evenings, nights, and weekends. You'll be at the heart of daily operations, making sure guests are served well and your team is set up for success.
About the Role: Food Service Supervisor As a
Food Service Supervisor
at Tim Hortons, you'll be responsible for overseeing a team of
5 to 10 staff members
who prepare and portion food. Your days will involve coordinating schedules, maintaining quality standards, and making sure the restaurant runs like clockwork from open to close.
You'll also be expected to uphold
sanitation and safety procedures , address customer concerns with professionalism, and keep accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage. Working under
tight deadlines
with strong
attention to detail
is part of the everyday reality in this role.
Benefits and Salary This position offers a wage of
$19.25 per hour
for
30 hours per week
on a permanent basis. The role provides stable, consistent employment with a well-known Canadian brand.
Responsibilities Day-to-day, the
Food Service Supervisor
keeps the restaurant operating efficiently by managing staff, maintaining supply levels, and ensuring
quality control standards
are met at every step.
These responsibilities are central to delivering a consistent guest experience and a well-run kitchen.
Establish
methods and schedules to meet daily work demands and keep shifts running on time
Supervise and co-ordinate
the activities of staff who prepare and portion food throughout each shift
Train staff
in job duties, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety protocols
Hire
food service staff as needed to maintain adequate team coverage
Requisition
food and kitchen supplies to ensure inventory is always stocked appropriately
Ensure
that food and service consistently meet quality control standards
Address
customers' complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
Maintain records
of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage for operational tracking
Prepare and submit reports
as required by management

Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years in a related food service role
Supervisory capability:
Comfortable managing and directing a team of 5 to 10 people

Dependable, flexible, and able to take initiative without constant direction
Client focus:
A genuine commitment to customer satisfaction and resolving concerns professionally
Team player:
Collaborative approach to working with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Eligibility:
