Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Materials Coordinator for a full-time prospect within a manufacturing and engineering environment in Kanata, ON.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in SAP, inventory control, shipping & receiving, material coordination, quality inspection, and manufacturing support.
You will support engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams by managing inventory, processing SAP transactions, coordinating material movement, and ensuring materials are available to support production and project requirements.

Track material availability and support production schedules.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Coordinate material movement throughout the facility.
Shipping, Receiving & Logistics Coordinate shipping and receiving activities.
Process inbound and outbound shipments and maintain shipping documentation.
Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and components.
Liaise with suppliers, procurement, and operations teams to ensure timely material flow.
Quality & Engineering Support Perform incoming inspection of parts, materials, and equipment.
Maintain documentation in accordance with quality procedures and company standards.
Support engineering and manufacturing teams with material and inventory requirements.
Assist with traceability, certification, and compliance documentation.
Administrative & System Support Manage SAP transactions and maintain accurate records.
Generate reports using SAP, Excel, and other business systems.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality requirements.
Qualifications and Skills: Experience using SAP for inventory, purchasing, or material management activities.
Experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or material handling.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word.
Experience with inventory control and material tracking.
Familiarity with quality systems, inspections, certifications, or manufacturing processes.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and record accuracy.
Ability to work effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
Previous experience in aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments is considered an asset.
