**Job Title: Warehouse Administrator**
**Job Description**
The Warehouse Administrator works both in the office and on the warehouse floor, supporting customers with their orders and ensuring efficient movement of goods.
Depending on daily volumes and operational needs, some days may be fully office-based while others may be entirely on the warehouse floor.
This role combines customer service, order processing, and hands-on material handling to keep the operation running smoothly.
**Responsibilities**
Assist customers with their orders, providing prompt and professional customer service.
Process orders using computers and MS Office applications to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Support loading of customer orders onto vehicles as needed, following safe lifting and handling practices.
Operate forklifts and other powered material handling equipment, such as reach trucks, pallet jacks, power pallets, end riders, and cherry pickers, in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform order picking using RF scan guns and other warehouse technologies to maintain accurate inventory records.
Handle heavy lifting up to 50 lbs regularly while moving, staging, and organizing products.
Conduct receiving activities, including verifying incoming shipments and updating inventory records.
Put away inventory in designated locations, maintaining organized and efficient storage areas.
Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring orders are packed, labeled, and dispatched correctly.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse and office environment by performing regular cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
Support inventory counts and cycle checks to help maintain accurate stock levels.
Flex between office and warehouse duties based on daily workload and where help is most needed.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, supervisors, and customers in both written and verbal formats.
Use RF scanners and related warehouse technology to track product movement and update system records.
Collaborate with a team of warehouse staff to complete tasks and meet daily operational targets.
**Essential Skills**
Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with MS Office applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
Valid forklift certification or license of any kind.
Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely, including reach trucks, pallet jacks, power pallets, end riders, and cherry pickers.
Comfort with heavy lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Experience with RF scan guns and basic inventory tracking processes.
Ability to work effectively both in an office setting and on the warehouse floor.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling orders and inventory.
Reliable work habits and willingness to perform a wide range of tasks as needed.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Experience operating reach forklifts or reach trucks.
Fall Arrest certification.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures in a warehouse environment.
Experience with inventory management, including put-away and cycle counting.

**Work Environment**
You work Monday to Friday, with an ideal shift of 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
The team consists of roughly 17 people in the warehouse each day, and you may work with different subsets of the team depending on whether you are in the office or on the floor.

Supervisors and managers work alongside the team as equals, contributing to a collaborative and down-to-earth atmosphere.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, AB.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
