Nature of the Work & Responsibilities The principal and customary work of the employee in this employment class consists in performing a set of administrative functions of a relatively complex nature according to established methods and procedures and clerical functions related to activities in this area. Specifically, the individual will be supporting regular credit pre-university activities and CECS reception. CECS responsibilities will also include evening credit division, AEC, non-credit, corporate training, and other dossiers. RESPONSIBILITIES: Administrative support responsibilities: Prepare and update hiring and contract documentation Liaise with departments, Human Resources and Finance about teacher absences, substitutions, contracts, etc.
Post information and class cancellation notifications Support the preparation, distribution, and processing of confidential teacher evaluations Assist with the coordination of make-up exams Distribute information to students and teachers Reception responsibilities: Member of the reception workgroup Greet, screen and direct general public, corporate clients, students, and faculty to the appropriate person/information Respond efficiently and effectively to inquiries about CECS course offerings (by phone or in-person) Assist in admission and course registration, including
