Who we are:The Fabrication Technician supports the growth of the Custom Solutions department by increasing productivity and assisting team members with basic and intermediate fabrication duties. This role is hands‐on, technical, and ideal for individuals eager to learn and develop within a fabrication and instrumentation workplace.Responsibilities:Maintain the 5S standard of the shop and general housekeepingAssemble mechanical assemblies and panelsAssist with inspections and testingOperate CNC equipment for bending and coilingAssist with equipment maintenanceAssist Field Engineering team on layoutsCutting and deburring tubingBend tubing by hand and with CNC benderInstall Swagelok tube fittingsProduce Swagelok hosesSet relief valvesConduct pressure testsWork hands‐on with product and collaborate with a team to complete projects on timeComplete training through Swagelok University online portalAdditional responsibilities as assigned as development progressesDemonstrate willingness to learn and grow within the roleQualifications/Skills Requirements: Education and Experience:High School DiplomaBasic knowledge of a tape measure, hand and power toolsAn asset but not required:Technical industry backgroundExperience as a instrument tech, carpenter, millwright, metal worker, construction worker, electrician, fabricator, or welderExperience within Oil & Gas industry or Instrumentation industrySkills and Competencies:Basic computer skills such as email and internet usageKnowledge on analytic software including but not limited to: SAP, Crystal Reports, Advanced Excel Analytics, Power BI, and Business SystemsUnderstanding of assembly, fabrication, or instrumentationAttention to detailAble to think and problem solve analyticallyAn asset but not required:Ability to read P&ID or CAD drawingsUnderstanding of Solidworks softwareAwareness of the Swagelok product line
