Neegan Development is currently seeking a positive, outgoing, and team-oriented individual to join our team as an HSE Coordinator.The HSE Coordinator will play an important role in supporting the company's commitment to safety excellence. This position will provide leadership and support to management and employees while ensuring compliance with company policies, site-specific requirements, and applicable Occupational Health and Safety legislation.The successful candidate will be comfortable working in the field, building strong relationships with employees and supervisors, and balancing field safety requirements with the administrative responsibilities of the role.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure adherence to all company Health, Safety & Environmental standards, policies, and proceduresMaintain current knowledge of applicable local, provincial, and federal legislation, regulations, and guidelinesIdentify opportunities to improve the HSE program and reduce workplace incidentsAssist management with the development and implementation of practical and effective workplace inspection programsConduct monthly safety inspections and audits to assess the effectiveness and compliance of inspection programsInvestigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrenceReceive, review, and promptly follow up on all near misses and FLRAsProvide leadership, guidance, and support to management, supervisors, and employees regarding HSE mattersEnsure compliance with company and site-specific safety rules, regulations, and requirementsMaintain current knowledge of OH&S legislation, standards, codes of practice, and industry best practicesReview incident and safety reports to monitor company and project safety performanceAnalyze safety statistics and trends to identify patterns, hazards,
