Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).Additional Required Qualifications:Experience as an Orthopaedic Technician/Licensed Practical Nurse in an Emergency Department within the last 2 years. Ability to fulfill the role of LPN in the ER, which includes caring for a wide range of patient presentations separate from Orthopaedic concerns. Ability to balance numerous demands and conflicting priorities is essential. Basic computer skills, familiarity with Connect Care, Netcare and PYXIS.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Positive command of the English language. Ability to work as part of a team and with minimal supervision. Physical capability of performing all aspects of the role (bending, crouching, kneeling, overhead lifting, and mobilization of bariatric patients).Up to date N95 Mask Fitting.Preferred Qualifications:Acute care experience.
